Identity Crisis part 1

                   IDENTITY CRISIS

•      IDENTITY CRISIS ; in my opinion, is not knowing or in better terms, having blurred lines of who you are, what you want and what standards or better still priciples you are really living up to. But according to PSYCHOLOGY ; it is a period of uncertainty and confusion in which a person's sense of identity becomes insecure, typically due to a change in their expected aims or role in society. 

             

 Many times we get excited to carry   out a new truth or rather knowledge,   that we come across but as soon as we get back to our normal lives and friends, we find our selves lost in the moment and whatever desire we had to do the things we learnt goes away and we comfort our selves that we are still fine without them.

You know, the funny thing about identity crisis is that if not careful ,you end up losing yourself in the name or pursuit of fantasies and other temporary  things you come across; and mostly many people are in denial of this aspect.

 CHECK; you might have principles or a certain vision you see of yourself, maybe how you want to dress or look like and all, but everything seems to change when you join a certain media platform and start seeing what others are looking like, by beholding you start becoming changed and sooner than you know it ,you start wanting to look in a certain way of what's trending, how cool you will be if only you look like that person you just saw on IG, how much similar you will be to the people you have been seeing online and all. You put in all your best to just look like or feel cool like others or what society terms as good life,,this is where it creeps in, soon you start wondering what people think of you "cool ,lame or a wannabe",yet, you start failing to do certain things cause you are scared of rebuke which might have truth in it which reminds you of what you already know; you wonder why what you have planned is not what is coming out. At this point all is confusing , even the very thing you are reading right? It’s not identity crisis don’t worry. 

Keep in mind this is my perspective and it might not make sense now but i am sure part two will make it CLEARER, where i will share different forms of IC.
